Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an IT/engineering intern to gain hands-on experience across software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering.

During a 10–12 week summer session, you will contribute to team goals, learn about Enterprise Technology operations, and engage with senior leaders. Some remote and onsite work is available after onboarding, with 5–15% travel.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s IT/engineering degree.
• GPA 2.75+ required.
• Must not graduate before August 2026.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, OS, and networks.
• Familiarity with Angular, Java, Python, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, Active Directory, IaC, Networking, and Data Center Infrastructure.
• Able to travel 5–15% and pass a background check.

Job description

• Contribute directly to team goals while developing technical and professional skills
• Learn about the Enterprise Technology and Security department and broader company business operations
• Attend site visits, information sessions, and networking events with senior leadership and peers
• Work from remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period
• Work 10–12 weeks during the internship summer session

Requirements

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an IT or Engineering related major
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Must not graduate prior to August 2026
• Previous internship experience
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and computer networks
• Familiarity with Angular or another JavaScript-based framework, Java, Python, and private and/or public cloud environments
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Infrastructure as Code, Networking, and Data Center Infrastructure
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL query authoring
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology
• Reliable, consistent transportation required
• Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future

Core Competencies

Demonstrates foundational knowledge in software engineering, data analytics, and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java and Python. Familiarity with cloud environments and Agile methodology is essential for contributing to team goals and enhancing technical skills.
