Job summary

The Amatriot Group seeks an IT/IA Specialist II to support SAPs and DoD agencies, including HQ Air Force and OSD, at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This role requires day-to-day system administration, cybersecurity coordination, and enforcement of security policies.

You will manage access, perform system configurations, and support VTC and Help Desk tasks. Required are a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification, and 5–7 years of related experience, including SAP

Target Salary Range*: $120,000-$124,500

Position Overview

The IT/IA Specialist II provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within SAPs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including HQ Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration and Operations

• Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems.
• Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and required system documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests.
• Perform hardware and software system configurations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Perform system and network appliance patching activities.
• Perform Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) system administration, scheduling, and configuration.
• Perform account creations, changes, and deletions across multiple authorization boundaries.
• Provide external information system client support.
• Provide Government-issued laptop support.
• Perform Help Desk and troubleshooting activities.

Cybersecurity and Authorization

• Review, prepare, and update authorization packages.
• Notify the customer of changes that may affect authorization accreditation.
• Conduct the cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection checklist.
• Review and provide technical and cybersecurity coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that make up the authorization package.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Ensure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices.

Security and Account Management

• Assist in media control and accountability activities.
• Perform COMSEC account and equipment management activities.

Qualifications

Clearance

• TS/SCI clearance [Required].
• Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].

Certifications

• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification [Required].

Experience

• 5-7 years of related experience [Required].
• Prior experience in roles such as System/Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance Specialist [Required].
• SAP experience [Required].
