Deloitte Wichita is seeking an IT Auditor – Senior Consultant to join the Audit & Assurance team. This role focuses on IT controls, risk management, and delivering high-quality audit services across multiple clients.

The Senior Consultant will engage in planning, testing, and reporting of IT controls, including SOX/COSO frameworks, with opportunities to work on Cyber Security, System Implementations, and Cloud Audits. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Finance or Internal Audit.
  • 2+ years of related experience within professional services, external audit, or IT audit.
  • Ability to plan and manage engagements with deadlines.
  • Ability to lead teams and oversee project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience auditing general computer controls and IT control testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Information Technology General Control Audits.
  • Coordinate Third Party Assurance Reports (SOC 1,2,3).
  • Assist with System Implementations and Cloud Audit projects.
  • Contribute to Cyber Security Audits and Internal Control Assessments.
  • Support Digital Control Design, Implementation and Operation.
  • Assist in Cloud Audits and related IT controls projects.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Finance or Internal Audit.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee and/or review the development of project deliverables, reports, presentations, and test controls in a fast‑paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience auditing general computer controls and IT control testing of applications, operating systems, and databases.
  • Strong background in auditing techniques and/or computer control environments
  • Experience identifying controls, developing and executing test plans
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and to participate in presentations
  • Experience with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) and/or COSO
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly and concisely research and collect data from unique places
  • Ability to synthesize data and convey information in a meaningful way

  • At least one of the following certifications: CISA , CISSP , CIA , CISM
  • SAP , NetSuite, Peoplesoft or Oracle controls experience
  • Prior work experience with a Big-4 or other Accounting and Consulting Firm

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,675 to $157,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to 105the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
