WHAT WILL YOU DO at JSP?

The Information Technology & AI Lead serves as the firm's primary internal technology resource, overseeing day-to-day IT support, systems administration, technology projects, vendor coordination, and AI enablement initiatives. You will:
Technology Support & Operations
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for technology support and troubleshooting
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365, firm applications, collaboration tools, hardware, and user access
- Coordinate with external IT providers, software vendors, and technology consultants to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including technology setup, equipment deployment, and system access management
- Track and prioritize technology support requests while maintaining a high level of internal customer service
- Maintain technology documentation, inventories, procedures, and system records
- Assist with software updates, upgrades, and implementation projects
Technology Improvement & Business Support
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of existing technology
- Evaluate new software, tools, and automation opportunities
- Assist with workflow improvements and technology-related process enhancements
- Coordinate technology projects and firmwide system rollouts
- Develop and maintain technology procedures and user guides
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement & Innovation
- Help employees understand and effectively utilize approved AI tools
- Research emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for the firm
- Develop examples, training materials, and best practices to increase adoption and productivity
- Assist leadership in evaluating AI tools for business use
- Help employees leverage AI responsibly while maintaining professional judgment and quality standards
- Help build analytical tools and dashboards for internal and external client use
- Consult with clients regarding analytical tools and dashboards to help run their business
- Help grow JSP’s client consulting in this area
- Assist with the development and maintenance of AI usage guidelines and internal procedures
- Promote best practices regarding confidentiality, client information, and appropriate AI usage
- Help identify potential risks associated with emerging technologies
- Serve as a resource for staff questions regarding AI and technology usage
- Participate in firm committees and internal initiatives as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with all departments to support operational excellence
- Actively contribute ideas that support the firm's strategic goals and culture

WHAT WILL YOU BRING to JSP?
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree (or Minor if your degree is in accounting) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field preferred. Candidates with education in Accounting, including a major, double major, second degree, minor, or comparable coursework, are strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, technology coordination, or similar role
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based business applications and technology platforms
- Interest in and familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Strong team mindset with a commitment to service and collaboration
- Ability to identify and implement efficiency improvements

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting public accounting, professional services, or consulting environments
- Experience working with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies
- Experience coordinating with managed service providers (MSPs) and/or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) cybersecurity providers.
