Job summary

Ractsol Corp. in Maryland seeks an Information Systems Security Officer – Mid to support our IT management and security program. You will help implement policies, maintain security posture, and coordinate accreditation activities.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAM Level 1 (Security+), 6–12 years ISSO experience with HS or 2–8 years with BA, and familiarity with risk assessments, SSPs, and NISCAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6-12 years ISSO experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-8 years of ISSO experience.
• DoD Directive 8570 IAM Level 1 certification (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provides support for an information assurance program and security operations.
• Evaluates security solutions to meet processing requirements for classified information.
• Performs vulnerability/risk assessments and maintains System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Manages changes and assesses security impact for configuration management and accreditation.
