Job summary

GRVTY is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer Level 1 to support Intelligence Community missions. As a cyber professional, you will work on the frontlines against cyber adversaries as part of a dedicated team.

You will own and enforce security policies, perform risk assessments, maintain SSPs, and assist with C&A under NIST RMF, DoD/ODNI guidance. A TS/SCI with polygraph and DoD 8570 IAT I baseline are required, with a technical bachelor's degree and several years of ISSO experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph; most recent poly within 7 years.
• IAT Level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and five years ISSO experience or nine years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies.

Information Systems Security Officer Level 1

GRVTY is seeking experienced Information Systems Security Officer to support core Intelligence Community (IC) missions. As a cyber professional in the intelligence community, you will work as part of a team on the frontlines against our cyber adversaries.

What You’ll be Owning:

We are seeking anISSOrole to provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program. Providing support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintaining operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Assisting with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system. Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Performing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation. Provides configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware. Manages changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes. Preparing and reviewing documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs). Supporting security authorization activities in compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework (NIST RMF).

• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation
• Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
• Assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
• Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, etc. to include system upgrades
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
• Develop and maintain documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies
• Develop system security policy and ensures compliance
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
• Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program
• Provide support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave
• Develop and update the system security plan and other IA documentation
• Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day-to- day security operations of the system
• Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism of the Information System (IS)

What You Must Have:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Most recent poly in the last 7 years.
• IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years of ISSO experience or nine (9) years' experience in lieu of degree.
