FEDITC, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Pearl Harbor Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship. The ISSO/ISSM duties include RMF activities to obtain ATO/ATC and support for SAP programs.

The position involves AIS accreditation, security surveys, and coordination with DoD agencies. Five+ years in information system security and RMF experience are required, along with a BS degree or equivalent.

Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer at Pearl Harbor Hickam , Oahu, Hawaii

Active TS/SCI Clearance and a United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

The 91 COS has an operational requirement for the development, maintenance, and instruction of standardized cyber operations utilizing TNO platforms in support of Combatant Commanders on a global basis. The goal is to provide operations personnel with detailed training courses to enhance the MQT of crewmembers. The developed courseware will familiarize crew trainees with TNO operations using present and future platforms. Courseware depth will be relevant to crew responsibilities and will increase with each level of instruction. The 91 COS is tasked with multiple mission areas requiring analytical support. This analysis will require use of higher-level tools to obtain automation of network characterization and baseline trending for highly technical mission areas. This task also assists cyberspace operations special access program (SAP)-related efforts for planning requirements, community coordination, policy, and doctrine.

Responsibilities:

• CONEMP: Information Systems Security: The contractor shall perform Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Manger (ISSM) duties and perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities in order to attain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC). The ISSO’s primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
• Performance shall include:
• Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages
• Notify customer when changes occur that might affect AIS accreditation/certification
• Perform AIS self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plans
• Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures
• Represent the customer on various technical review and inspection teams
• Conduct security surveys at subordinate facilities and gather pertinent security documentation for inclusion into system accreditation packages
• Coordinate, prepare, and track AIS inspections, reports, and responses
• Maintain AIS security records and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating in government facilities
• Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems
• Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices
• Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers
• Assist Department of Defense, National Agency and Contractor organizations with the development of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts
• Review, track, and conduct AIS training
• Produce RMF packages for higher headquarters review and approval.

Experience/Education:

• Five plus (5+) years of experience working in Information System Security.
• Minimum two (2) years working with Risk Management Framework.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of system security operations.
• Expert knowledge of System Security best practices.

Certifications:

• IAT LVL II certification

Clearance:

• Must be a US Citizen and an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Willing to take Polygraph & comply with SAP Requirements.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
