Cymertek is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to lead the security program for our information systems in Chantilly, VA. You will oversee security posture, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide risk mitigation strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, incident management, and a track record building secure IT environments for government or contractor settings.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NIST/ISO security standards and controls.
• Experience building and managing risk mitigation programs.
• Proven incident response and breach management capabilities.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools.
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., privacy, security laws).
• Leadership of security teams and cross-functional collaboration.
