Palantir Technologies seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to help secure DoD missions in USG facilities. You will bridge engineering and compliance, implement automated, scalable security controls across Windows and Linux environments, and interface with auditors to articulate posture.
The role requires active US TOP SECRET clearance, IAM Level 2, and hands-on experience with AD, DNS, GPO, SCCM/MDT, and security tooling. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Palantir’s effectiveness in the US Government (USG) space depends on our ability to maintain secure, resilient, and compliant IT environments. As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with a strong IT technical foundation, you will be responsible for both security management technical administration of our USG facilities. You will balance compliance requirements with functionality, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and supports mission-critical DoD operations. Our ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Windows and Linux systems engineering with a strong understanding of government security frameworks, and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and user-friendly environments.
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $100,000 - $174,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
