Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a DoD RMF environment in San Diego, CA. You will administer Windows systems, support RMF/ATO activities, and maintain cybersecurity artifacts for a classified testing program.

The role requires IAT Level II certification and a Secret clearance, with 3+ years RMF/ATO, 3+ years Windows administration, and 2+ years networking experience; eMASS, ACAS, and STIG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years RMF/ATO/ATC processes.
• 3+ years Windows systems administration in DoD environments.
• 2+ years networking experience including troubleshooting and routing analysis.
• Experience with eMASS, ACAS, STIG implementation, system hardening, scripting/automation and security compliance activities.
• IAT Level II Certification: Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, backup procedures, and network troubleshooting guides.

Information Systems Security Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a company focused on ballistic missile defense testing and evaluation within a Department of Defense RDT&E environment. This position is 100% on-site in San Diego, CA. The Information Systems Security Engineer will provide hands-on Windows systems administration, cybersecurity compliance support, and network troubleshooting for a classified testing environment. • IAT Level II Certification: Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for the Information Systems Security Engineer include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience supporting NAS and SAN storage environments.
• Experience working with Linux-based ACAS scanners.
• Prior experience supporting classified DoD test, engineering, or missile defense programs.

Compensation for the Information Systems Security Engineer include:

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
