Qualifications

• Seven years of IT audit experience performing compliance reviews, system analysis, or supporting audit technology development.
• Associate's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience; Bachelor's for up to four years; Master's for an additional one year.
• Preferred: IT industry experience, professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISSMP, CIA), and familiarity with GAGAS, CIS, COBIT, COSO, and NIST CSF frameworks
• Experience conducting cloud security, artificial intelligence, operating systems, access controls, and database/system security audits
• Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to work independently and in team environments
• Organized, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain audit software for local governments and schools across New York State.
• Conduct specialized cybersecurity and IT audits in NYS, ensuring compliance with GAOGS and industry standards.
• Provide technical assistance on cybersecurity topics to audit teams and stakeholders.
• Travel across New York State while based in the Rochester Regional Office to fulfil audit duties.
