Job summary

S3K seeks a senior cybersecurity professional to join a DoD-related program at Fort Meade. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a suite of certifications; hands-on RMF, XACTA, and vulnerability management experience is preferred.

You will collaborate with Incident Response, risk assessments, and security engineering teams to maintain accreditation readiness and protect critical defense systems in a dynamic operational environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

• Must possess comparable technical certifications
• DoD 8570 compliant IAM Level I certification
• Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
• GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC)
• CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Working knowledge of security authorization per RMF NIST SP800-37
• Familiarity with ICD503, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP800-53
• Knowledge of communication protocols, encryption techniques and PKI
• Experience with incident management and vulnerability compliance
• Technical writing
• Experience with XACTA IA Manager, XACTA 360, HBSS, ACAS, Nessus, SPLUNK
