Job summary

Artera Technologies, LLC is seeking Information Systems Security Engineers in Maryland for mid to principal level roles. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and integrating IA architectures and secure systems across multiple enclaves, with a focus on safeguarding sensitive government networks.

The role requires extensive IA experience (14+ years), familiarity with DoD/NSA/IC regulations, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 14 years of IA System Architect and Engineer experience, including recent work, with Defense-in-Depth principles and technology.
• 2 years applying security risks assessment methodology to system development, including threat modeling and vulnerability analysis.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is desired and may substitute for 6 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC, and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy.
• This is a CWIP IASAE Level III billet per DoD Directive 8570-1 and requires certification as defined by the IASAE criteria.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components for Government projects.
• Provide guidance to ensure architecture and design of information systems are secure and functionally integrated with program-of-record systems.
• Create system designs that span multiple enclaves with varying data protection requirements.
• Apply IA policies and procedures to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY ENGINEERS

Job Type: Full Time

Artera Technologies, LLC’s engineering team works on projects that protect our nation using advanced technologies. We deliver systems and capabilities in the areas of research, modernization, development, integration, and sustainment of mission systems.

Tasking:

• Supports the Government in the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components.


• Provides the Government assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure, including program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity.


• Performs system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements.


• Applies knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.

General Qualifications:

• 14 years of IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) experience, to include recent experience within the last five years, with Defense-in-Depth principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), network and enterprise security architecture.


• 2 years of experience applying security risks assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and resulting security risk analysis.


• A Master's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is desired and may be substituted for 6 years of experience.


• Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC, and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy


• This is a CWIP Billet per DoD Directive 8570-1 and must meet specified certification requirements defined and documented by the TTO COR - IASAE Level III a must have.
