Job summary

Fisher Investments is expanding its Information Security team and seeks an Information Security Tools Engineer. You will implement, maintain, and support security systems used across partner teams to run critical security programs in a cloud/SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, information technology or related field.
• 5+ years in operational technology management.
• 3+ years in security system setup, integrations and configuration in Azure.
• Proven enterprise-level project participation and delivery.
• Knowledge of Information Security and Risk Management concepts.
• Ability to work in a team with co-located and remote members.
• Experience with VMware and legacy support systems.
• Experience with AI control systems and in financial services or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

The Information Security Tools Engineer will report to an Information Security Team Lead and will implement, maintain, and support security systems and tools used by partner teams to operate critical security programs. You will join a close-knit, collaborative team with experience, mentorship, and career development, grounded in a practical, risk-based approach to information security.

The Day-to-Day:

• Coordinate, build, test and deploy security systems with risk managers and application subject matter experts
• Maintain and support production security systems
• Help design security systems in a cloud and SaaS environment
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and coordination with Information Security teams, Technology teams, Business teams and vendors
• Help mature the team's processes and documentation

Your Qualifications:

• 5 years (minimum) experience in the field of operational technology management
• 3 years (minimum) experience in the field of security system setup, integrations and configuration in Azure
• Successful project participation and delivery at an enterprise level
• Comprehension and adaption of Information Security and Risk Management concepts
• Bachelor's degree in information security, Information Technology or related field
• Work in a team environment demonstrating risk assessment and mitigation knowledge in IT or IS
• Must be a team player and able to work with co-located and remote team members dispersed globally
• Knowledge of legacy support systems, such as VMWare
• Artificial intelligence control systems experience
• Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industry
