Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years in cybersecurity, engineering, or consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, network design.
  • Hands-on with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security; cloud familiarity.
  • Proficiency in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
  • Experience in penetration testing and incident response.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; consulting mindset.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

  • Security architecture and design for defenses with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Client advisory and consulting to tailor security roadmaps.
  • Plan and deliver security-focused projects aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify threats and mitigations.
  • Lead and support incident investigations and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to integrate security into systems.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training for clients and staff.
  • Research and adopt latest security technologies and methodologies.
  • Monitor security tools, analyze logs, and produce detailed reports for clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities


  • Security Architecture & Design: Develop and implement security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and secure access controls.

  • Client Advisory & Consulting: Engage with clients to understand their security needs, provide tailored recommendations, and develop actionable security roadmaps.

  • Project Execution: Plan and deliver security-focused projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of solutions that align with client objectives.

  • Threat Analysis & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.

  • Incident Response: Lead and support the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure organizational and client compliance with security frameworks, regulations, and best practices (e.g., CMMC, CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

  • Collaboration & Enablement: Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to integrate security into system design, operations, and business processes.

  • Security Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering training programs for clients and internal teams to enhance overall security awareness and best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Research and implement the latest security technologies and methodologies to improve client and organizational defenses.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Configure and manage security monitoring tools, analyze logs, and produce detailed reports for internal and client use to maintain a robust security posture.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security engineering, client advisory, or consulting roles.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, network architecture, and secure coding practices.

  • Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security). Familiarity with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Experience in penetration testing, incident response, forensic investigations

  • Knowledge of compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a consulting mindset.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
