Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead assessments of applications and cloud environments, ensuring alignment with NIST RMF and ISO standards and supporting A&A activities. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop secure IT architectures and governance frameworks.

The role requires independent work, strong communication with executives, and the ability to manage multiple large initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of relevant security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field; if not, four additional years of related experience are required.
• Experience performing assessments independently and handling multiple initiatives of large size and risk.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments of applications and cloud environments; manage multiple large projects.
• Implement security controls and conduct risk assessments to meet regulatory requirements (NIST RMF, ISO).
• Document compliance evidence and support A&A/certification processes.
• Ensure risk, compliance, and assurance are treated appropriately from internal and external perspectives.
• Develop security blueprints, models, and guidelines to secure and optimize IT architecture.
