Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSE) to own the cybersecurity posture of the program, developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.

A bachelor's degree in CS or Information Security and 7+ years in information systems security are required, along with an active TS/SCI with FS Poly and onsite work in Ashburn, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in information systems security.
• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices and regulations.
• Proficient in reading scans.
• Proficient in working cross-functionally to mitigate scans.
• Experience with POA&Ms.
• Proficient with working with a team and ISSM to achieve accreditation.
• Experience with a large environment that has multiple domain/enclaves, not a flat environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSE) to provide hands‑on proactive ownership of the cybersecurity posture of their program. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

This work is 100% onsite in Ashburn, VA. It requires an active TS/SCI + FS Poly government clearance.
