Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Information Security Engineer to join the security team in a hybrid setup. You will implement, manage, and monitor security technologies, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

You will work on diverse security projects, collaborate with IT teams, and contribute to policy development while maintaining hands-on execution across tools and devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an information security engineering or operations role.
• Hands-on experience with network security devices and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of security best practices, threat landscapes, and incident response procedures.
• Scripting in Python or PowerShell is a plus.

• Implement, configure, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor security systems and analyze logs for suspicious activities and potential threats.
