Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an IAM professional to support onboarding migrations and enterprise IAM initiatives. You will collaborate with business units to identify pain points and ensure IAM capabilities align with real-world workflows in cloud and hybrid environments.

You will translate business feedback into actionable product insights, influence roadmaps, and mentor teammates while applying AI-assisted tools to accelerate design and implementation in a secure, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience implementing IAM onboarding migrations or transformation initiatives.
• Experience in cloud/hybrid environments including Azure, GCP, and on-prem AD.
• Experience applying enterprise IAM capabilities (authentication, identity governance, PAM, MFA, directory services, API access management, identity analytics).
• Strong understanding of IAM security principles, least privilege, and zero-trust architectures.

Responsibilities

• Engage business units to identify IAM pain points, adoption barriers, and access challenges across initiatives.
• Understand business workflows and access requirements to align IAM solutions with real-world use cases.
• Influence stakeholders on IAM changes and translate requirements into product inputs for IAM teams.

Job description

• Proven experience supporting IAM onboarding migrations, or transformation initiatives
• Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, on-prem AD, etc.)
• Experience applying enterprise IAM capabilities including authentication, identity governance, privileged access management, MFA, directory services, API access management, and identity analytics to support business onboarding, adoption, migrations, and access issue resolution across cloud and hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of IAM security principles, processes, and best practices such as principle of least privilege and zero-trust architecture
• Demonstrated experience in IAM Operations, triage, or support functions
• Experience driving adoption of enterprise technology solutions
• Ability to influence product roadmaps using data and business impact
• Familiarity with Agile or product-driven environment
• Experience working directly with business issues, applications and product owners
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

What You Will Be Doing

• Proactively engage business units to identify IAM pain points, adoption barriers, and access challenges across initiatives
• Understand business workflows, dependencies, and access requirements to ensure IAM solutions align with real world use cases
• Influence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to IAM enterprise solutions
• Act as an Engagement Partner for IAM across business units, ensuring consistent engagement, alignment, and adoption of IAM capabilities.
• Gather and translate business requirements into structured inputs for IAM product and engineering teams
• Translate business feedback and access challenges into actionable product insights to improve IAM capabilities and user experience
• Evaluate and interpret information security policies, standards, and processes to enable consistent adoption and informed decision-making across IAM initiatives.
• Advise on the development and delivery of IAM Enterprise Solutions
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Translate business feedback and access challenges into actionable product insights to improve IAM capabilities and user experience
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
• Demonstrate proficiency in using AI assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code centric agents)
• Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Apply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI assisted outputs into solutions
• Understand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations
• Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments
• Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards
