Job summary

Quest Technology Management in Sacramento seeks an entry-level Information Security Assistant to support the annual security review calendar, assist with IT control research, and administer the Bank’s Data Loss Prevention system under the IS Manager.

Responsibilities include developing training materials, assisting with risk assessments, and monitoring regulatory changes while ensuring compliance with FDIC/FFIEC guidelines. Strong communication and basic Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or training equivalent.
• Knowledge of IS policy and IS compliance is preferred.
• Strong project management and communication skills are highly desired.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned Information Security reviews and document IT controls.
• Administer the Bank's Data Loss Prevention system and monitor alerts.
• Assist with the development of information security training materials.
• Assist with risk assessments as directed by the Information Security Manager.
• Analyze trends, laws, or software impacting information security.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Participate in Bank projects as directed by the Information Security Manager.
• Maintain current knowledge of bank regulations and new threats.
