Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Information Security Analyst II to monitor and report on security incidents across company computer systems and networks.

The role helps develop processes to provide strong security layers, conducts assessments, and trains staff on IT security awareness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as PCI and FERPA. The ideal candidate will monitor network traffic and analyze security implementations across business units.

Qualifications

  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Cyber Security.
  • Security+ certification preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze logs, account management and other security procedures; implement remediation processes.
  • Evaluate changes to security for PeopleSoft Application; review FERPA/HIPAA/PCI requirements.
  • Review security posture and conduct information security assessments; document findings.
  • Draft and disseminate security policy addressing threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Mentor and train junior staff and IT security liaison with BU’s.
  • All other duties as assigned.
