Job summary

Boston Partners seeks an Information Security Analyst to design, implement, and enforce programs that protect our data and systems. The role emphasizes incident detection and response, policy design, and risk management within a fast-paced financial services environment.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong analytical and writing skills, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 security tools. CISSP is preferred and independence is valued in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Familiarity with AI security, AI governance, or AI risk management frameworks such as NIST AI RMF.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools (Purview, Defender, Entra ID, sensitivity labels, DLP, auditing).
• Conscientious and detail oriented; strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on operational security role covering event detection and response.
• Information security policy design and maintenance.
• Risk management including vendor risk management.
• Security awareness training.
• Threat intelligence and vulnerability management.
• Audit support including risk assessments and client due diligence questionnaires, and evidence collection.
• Identity and access management.
• Endpoint security.
• Data privacy and data protection.
• Support the secure, compliant adoption of AI tools.
