Job summary

La Crosse County Library, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join the IT Department. This role involves defending County systems through proactive threat monitoring and incident response.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in cybersecurity operations, strong communication skills, and be able to assess security risks effectively. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Computer Science is required, along with relevant IT experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience in Security, Infrastructure, or Software & Solutions.
• Relevant certifications are preferred.
• Experience in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defend County systems and data through proactive threat monitoring.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for supported systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Knowledge of cybersecurity operations

Strong technical communication skills

Advanced technical knowledge of enterprise servers

Education

Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field
