State of Indiana is seeking a security professional to safeguard information assets and monitor critical systems across IDEM. You will lead vulnerability assessments, implement security controls, and coordinate incident response to protect environmental data and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of security software applications and tools.
• Understanding of computer security systems including firewalls and encryption.
• Knowledge of state and federal information security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard IDEM’s information assets and protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
• Monitor endpoints, networks, cloud services, and vendor systems for health signals, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to detect and mitigate threats.
• Design and implement technical and procedural security controls, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
• Lead or support incident response activities and produce incident reports and remediation plans.
