Job summary

ANB Bank in Cheyenne, WY, is seeking an Information Security Analyst to administer, monitor, and support security systems protecting bank data. This onsite role covers alert triage, incident management support, and ongoing improvements to security operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring multiple tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls), managing access and AD/Entra IDs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance, including BSA obligations, with a rotating after-hours on-call

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred; college degree preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft SC-900 preferred.
• Experience with SIEM, patching, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and AD or similar technologies preferred.
• Information Security Analyst II requires three or more years of progressively increasing information security experience or equivalent training and experience.
• Advanced security operations certifications such as CompTIA SecurityX or GCTI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support corporate information security systems and processes, including user account management across multiple security solutions.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts from intrusion detection/prevention, firewall, SIEM, endpoint, and other information security solutions.
• Manage log analysis systems and document alert triage, investigation steps, and disposition.
• Monitor patching and vulnerability management solutions and generate reports as assigned.
• Support incident management activities and maintain proper chain of custody for relevant evidence.
• Manage VPN solutions and generate reports as assigned.
• Recommend ways to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of information security operations.
• Provide technical support to internal teams as necessary.
• Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule and respond to security-related issues when required.
• Maintain current knowledge of and consistent compliance with BSA requirements and other banking regulations.

Requirements

• Information Security Analyst I: Two years of related experience and/or training preferred; college degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, other vendor certifications, or appropriate training and experience.
• Experience with SIEM solutions, patching solutions, antivirus solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Microsoft Active Directory, or similar technologies preferred.
• Information Security Analyst II: Three or more years of progressively increasing information security experience required, or equivalent training and experience.
• Industry-standard advanced information security certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, GCIH, or equivalent training and experience required.
• Experience monitoring patching solutions and generating reports.
• Experience managing VPN solutions and generating reports.
• Experience continuously monitoring and evaluating vulnerability management results and generating reports.
• Experience with patching solutions and application management.
• Information Security Analyst III: Four or more years of progressive information security experience required, or equivalent training and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure security administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID administration and identity security.
• Experience with firewall management and rule review.
• Experience leading incident response investigations and threat hunting activities.
• Experience with application management.
• Advanced security operations certifications or equivalent advanced security operations training and experience preferred, such as CompTIA SecurityX, GCTI, or similar credentials.

Compensation and Schedule

• Location: Cheyenne, WY (onsite)
• Salary: USD 23 - 38 per hourly
• Minimum experience: 3 years
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Hiring pay ranges:
  • Information Security Analyst I: $23.25 - $32.00 per hour
  • Information Security Analyst II: $24.00 - $35.25 per hour
  • Information Security Analyst III: $26.25 - $38.75 per hour
• Hiring pay range is commensurate with level of relevant experience and education.
