Job summary

Financial Services Company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Information Security Analyst – Cloud & AI Governance for a long-term contract (Hybrid). You will help align cloud/AI governance with cybersecurity objectives and support the AI Security Governance Framework across multi-program initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years in information security and experience with AI security risks, audit-ready documentation, and collaboration with risk and cloud leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of information security, cybersecurity, cloud security, risk or governance.
• 1+ year assessing or governing AI security requirements.
• Experience with AI-specific cybersecurity risks and secure AI practices.
• Experience creating audit-ready documentation, risk artifacts, and executive reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Risk, or Governance.
• 1+ year of experience assessing, implementing, or governing AI security requirements.
• Experience with AI-specific cybersecurity risks, including prompt injection, model attacks, data poisoning, adversarial threats, or secure AI development practices.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or operationalizing security policies, controls, frameworks, or governance processes.
• Ability to create and maintain audit-ready documentation, risk artifacts, control evidence, and executive reporting.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF).
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts, including:
• Shared responsibility models

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the alignment of Cloud and AI governance activities with strategic cybersecurity objectives.
• Help implement and operationalize the AI Security Governance Framework.
• Assess AI-specific cybersecurity risks, controls, and guardrails.
• Support governance activities related to AI regulations, industry standards, and frameworks, including NIST AI RMF.
• Review and maintain the Cloud Control Framework (CCF) as cloud technologies, industry practices, and threat landscapes evolve.
• Coordinate governance deliverables and ensure timely execution across multiple programs.
• Evaluate Enterprise Information Security policies, standards, and processes and recommend enhancements related to Cloud and AI.
• Support cloud security policy and control uplift initiatives across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Review AI and cloud security tool coverage to ensure capabilities address emerging threats and organizational technology changes.
• Analyze, validate, and document Cloud Security Risk Observations from internal assessments, external reviews, and CCF validation activities.
• Track risk disposition, remediation plans, owners, due dates, and supporting evidence.
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready evidence, governance artifacts, risk documentation, and executive reporting packages.
• Collaborate with AI Security Governance, Cloud leadership, cybersecurity subject matter experts, risk teams, control owners, and other stakeholders.
• Consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve governance objectives.
