Key duties include vulnerability management, RMF/A&A documentation, and collaboration with IT and engineering for remediation and audits. A Secret clearance and DoD-aligned certifications are required, with a strong emphasis on security best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, vulnerability management, or a related field.
• Experience with ACAS, SCAP, CIS Benchmarks, Retina, and other automated vulnerability assessment tools.
• Knowledge of RMF, A&A processes, NIST compliance frameworks, POA&M management, and cybersecurity documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Security+ CE certification required.
• CySA+ certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability scanning and compliance assessments using ACAS and other cybersecurity tools across enterprise environments.
• Analyze security findings, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and engineering teams.
• Develop, review, and maintain RMF and A&A documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and related compliance artifacts.
• Support cybersecurity audits, inspections, and compliance efforts aligned with NIST and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance, support incident response activities, and promote security best practices across the organization.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support a company focused on delivering secure IT and cybersecurity services for Army operations and mission-critical environments. This position is on-site in Fort Rucker, AL. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through vulnerability management, compliance assessments, RMF support, and security documentation. Compensation for the Information Security Analyst include:

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
