Job summary

A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Information Risk Security Specialist to monitor and oversee their Information Security program in Seattle, WA. This role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft and Cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in information security. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a detailed understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements. This is a contract position lasting 6 to 9 months with potential for hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of system security, controls, or information management experience.
• Familiar with regulatory and standards-body based requirements for protecting information.
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the Information Security program.
• Maintain security and health status of systems.
• Conduct annual Information Security Risk Assessment.

Skills

Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies

Strong Knowledge of Cloud Technologies

Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in full project life cycle

Ability to work with teams on shore and off shore

Demonstrated ability to write business and technical reports

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration

SANS and/or CISSP accreditation
