Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Austin, TX seeks a Map Data Specialist with at least 1 year of navigation experience to support map data layers and related client training programs.

You will perform map edits per work package instructions, conduct targeted data research, and help identify and solve systematic map errors using open-source resources and standard tools.

Strong ability to assimilate training on client projects and tools, and fluency with macOS and collaboration apps is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in navigation.
• Ability to complete Client Project Training for all map data layers.
• Ability to complete Client Tools Training for map data editing, edit tracking and reporting.
• General skills in open-source research for map data corroboration.
• Ability to conduct targeted research in registered data sources.
• Ability to perform Map edits based on the instructions received in an area via work package.
• Understand and solve systematic errors in maps data.
• Fluency or ability to gain fluency with macOS, Numbers, Pages, Slack, Quip, Mail, Calendar, and Client Maps.
