Job summary

MicroTech is seeking an Information Assurance Support for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The role supports management, administration, and implementation of cybersecurity programs to protect Enterprise and AOC networks and information.

The candidate will implement IA controls, manage incidents, and maintain RMF artifacts in compliance with DoD directives. Active TS with SCI eligibility is required; DoD 8140 and CISM/CISSP considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of work experience.
• DoD 8140 DCWF 722, Intermediate Level.
• (CISSP) certification within 1 year of hire.
• DISA ACAS Certification (active or within 1 year of hire).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the information security subject matter expert and implement processes and controls for cybersecurity programs.
• Plan, implement, upgrade and monitor security measures for protection of communications and IT systems.
• Draft, review and coordinate IA policies, procedures and operating instructions; provide revisions.
• Identify and manage cybersecurity risks and implement controls for mission critical services.
• Monitor and detect cybersecurity events and implement appropriate response and recovery actions.
• Manage cybersecurity incident management, escalation and reporting IAW SPIN-C and IA regulations.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture in line with DoD/AF/USAFCENT directives and policy.
• Ensure IT assets are configured IAW STIG and security guidance.
• Coordinate system access requests, software approvals, and IA-related documentation.
• Develop RMF artifacts, POA&M, waivers and vulnerability mitigation plans.
• Assess impact of changes on certification and accreditation packages.
• Ensure IA documentation is current and accessible.
• Research security issues and provide recommended solutions.
• Promote information security awareness across units.
• Assist with COMSEC/EMSEC/OPSEC programs as required.
