Information Assurance/Security Controls Assessor (15.34)
Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
This is a contract position for a federal client, contingent upon contract award. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, hold a BA/BS degree in an IT related field, and possess the certifications listed below.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth assessments of management, operations, and technical security controls.
- Analyze information and prepare reports describing vulnerability levels of the network.
- Document and plan remediation of vulnerabilities, and provide continuous monitoring of network security.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- BA/BS degree in IT related field
- Familiarity with RMF and NIST 800‑53 Rev 5 controls
- Experience using CSAM or another RMF‑approved system of record
- 2‑4 years of experience AND hold AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
- OR 2‑4 years of experience AND one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP/CASP+), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Proof of certifications required
- Passing a background check required
- Onsite presence required at least one day per week

Salary Range
$55,000-$75,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and education.
