Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the Data and Analytics (DNA) unit in Hartford, CT. You will contribute to requirements elicitation, design discussions, and coding of new features within Informatica ecosystems to deliver data-driven solutions.

The role involves code reviews, testing, production-support, and knowledge transfer, with a strong emphasis on hands-on development and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Administration (PowerCenter / IICS).
• Experience in Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, MDM, IDQ, and related components.
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and scheduling tools.
• Experience in Monitoring Informatica services, repositories, and scheduler jobs to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Experience in Performing installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, and version management of Informatica platforms
• Experience with high availability (HA) and performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of databases and data integration architecture.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Informatica Professional Certification (Admin)
• ITIL certification (Foundation or higher)
• Exposure to cloud data platforms or hybrid integration architectures
• Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau/Power BI

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
