Infoblox Engineer – TS/SCI, Polygraph

Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced DDI Platform Engineer in the Maryland region to lead incident analysis and troubleshooting for Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM. You will ensure ongoing platform reliability, manage risk, and collaborate with government and vendor teams to migrate and modernize the DDI services across enterprise environments.

The role requires DoD compliance, DoD 8570 Level II certification, and a strong background in DNS/DHCP/IPAM with scripting in Python and API usage.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (e.g. Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, etc.).
• Core DDI Config and Admin (CDCA) certified.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 12+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive recent experience configuring and managing DNS in a large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, BIND, and NTP.
• Understanding of broader technology domains such as storage, virtualization, networking, and data center operations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system issues, document root cause, and develop remediations.
• Experience with Python and APIs.
• Self-driven, able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
