University of Florida in Palm Beach is seeking a RES AST/ASO PROF for the Garcia Lab to lead and contribute to translational inflammation research. This full-time, 12-month appointment targets high-impact biochemistry and molecular biology work with mentoring and grant activity.

The successful candidate will design independent studies, supervise trainees, prepare manuscripts, and collaborate across UF Scripps and UF Health to advance CISSM programs and develop new initiatives.

Qualificações

• PhD/MD/MD-PhD in inflammation biology or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record and ability to design independent experiments.
• Experience in translational research and preclinical lung/vascular models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of securing grants.
• Ability to mentor students, postdocs, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead independent and collaborative research on inflammation and related diseases.
