Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking a Director in the Clinical Pharmacology Group at our Foster City, CA site. You will oversee clinical pharmacology programs in Inflammation and contribute across the product development process from first-in-human to post-marketing.

The role requires leading complex studies, strategic program oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with regulators and teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical pharmacology or related field.
• PhD, PharmD or MD with emphasis in clinical pharmacology/pharmacokinetics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity clinical pharmacology studies.
• Provide strategic leadership for Phase 1-4 programs in inflammation.
• Develop and implement clinical pharmacology tools to improve drug development.
• Represent department on cross-functional teams and with regulatory bodies.
• Author and review protocols, SAPs, study reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure timely and budget-aligned deliverables across programs.
