Job summary

Capital Medical Group is seeking a full-time Infectious Diseases specialist to join the hospital service team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC. The role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and teaching opportunities within an academic environment.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient consults, and call coverage with GWU Hospital; the position also involves serving as Hospital Epidemiologist and Antimicrobial Steward, in a dyadic leadership

Qualifications

• Board certification in Infectious Diseases.
• Valid medical license in the District of Columbia by time of appointment.
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultative services for hospitalized patients.
• Provide outpatient consultative services as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
• Share call coverage with Infectious Diseases service at GWU Hospital; participate in teaching and supervision of fellows.
