Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center invite applications for an academic Infectious Diseases physician (Open Rank/Track). The Division seeks expertise in general ID and HIV with inpatient consults on Main Campus and OSU East Hospital, plus an ambulatory longitudinal clinic.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent license to practice in Ohio.
• Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to consultation requests; determines, prescribes and implements treatment plans and/or medications.
• Provides instructional training to fellows, housestaff, medical students and ancillary staff.
• Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities.
• Provides inpatient consultative services and maintains an ambulatory longitudinal care clinic.
