Overview

This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently‑operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services.

Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and sets patient care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care.

Physician Responsibilities

• Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope
• Develop professional relationships within the medical community
• Coordinate payer credentialing with physician participation as required
• Determine clinical services offered
• Manage clinical quality and patient experience

Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO

• Practice formation coordination
• Billing and collections management
• Payer contract negotiation
• Financial infrastructure and reporting
• Operational workflows and staffing systems
• Technology platform and implementation

Requirements

• MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided
• Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable
