Job summary

A national medical group is seeking a Part-Time Infectious Disease Physician in Blacksburg, VA. This role offers clinical autonomy and flexibility with no night, call, or weekend responsibilities. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities, attend weekly wound rounds, and enjoy a supportive onboarding process that includes paid training and a fellowship. Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients.
