LocumTenens.com seeks an Infectious Disease physician for inpatient consults and clinic duties in Eastern Kentucky. The role includes two half-day clinics weekly (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and supervision of one on-site NP.

This locum-tenens assignment supports a busy hospital with 25 inpatient cases daily. Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease (ABIM or AOA) and a Kentucky medical license or IMLC are required, with a minimum of two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Infectious Disease (ABIM or AOA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultative and management services.
• Two half-day clinic sessions per week (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
• Supervise one on-site NP.
• No call coverage.
