Qualifications

• Board Certification in Infectious Diseases is required.
• DEA, BLS, NCMB licensure requirements.
• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
• Prior inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional medical services to patients in-person and via telemedicine.
• Exercises independent professional judgment in patient care and treatment decisions.
• Orders and prescribes medical treatments, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals.
• Counsels patients and families and provides health education.
• Refers patients to appropriate specialists to ensure multidisciplinary care.
• Documents clinical care and assigns codes for billing.
• Supervises other medical professionals.
• Adheres to medical ethics principles.
