Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Schulenburg, TX, is seeking a Part-Time Infectious Disease Physician to join our mobile wound care team. You will provide bedside wound management in post-acute facilities and conduct weekly wound rounds as part of a 40–60 mile mobile radius.

The role offers no nights, no calls, and no weekend work, with paid training and a W2 employment arrangement. Part-time requires at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the state you wish to practice (Texas).
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound management in post-acute care settings (SNFs and LTACs).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Documentation at point of care using proprietary EMR.
• Part-time schedule: 3–4 days per week; no nights, no calls, no weekends.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice


• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.


• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.


• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.


• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.


• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.


• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.


• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.


• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.


• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship


• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
