Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Pulaski, VA is seeking a part-time Infectious Disease Physician to deliver bedside wound care within a mobile post-acute care network. You will perform rounds, document in real time, and participate in a comprehensive wound care training program.

The role offers autonomy with a typical 3-day per week minimum for part-time, or 4–5 days for full-time, with no nightly calls and no weekend duties. Employment is W-2 with benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at bedside in the post-acute care setting.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating ~20–30 patients daily.
• Clinical documentation at point of care using our EMR.
• Paid training during onboarding and 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no visa sponsorship).

• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 - 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
