Your Opportunity

Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our expanding specialty team in Prestonsburg, Kentucky at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center. You will provide expert infectious disease consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a supportive, integrated health system that values collaboration, compassion, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases in hospital and clinic settings
  • Lead infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with hospitalists, primary care, and specialty providers

  • Maintain thorough documentation meeting regulatory and compliance standards
