Job summary

Infectious Disease Services of Georgia in Roswell, GA, is seeking a full-time PA-C to provide direct patient care in collaboration with infectious disease physicians. You will perform histories and examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and contribute to evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic infections.

On-site duties include in-patient rounding, follow-up visits, wound care as needed, infusion coordination, and patient education on prevention, adherence, and travel

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification and unrestricted Georgia PA license or eligible before start
• Clinical experience or interest in Infectious Disease or Internal Medicine
• Patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning in outpatient/infusion-center settings
• Wound care and IV-therapy coordination, with team collaboration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patient-centered care
• Proficiency with EHR/e-prescribing and standard documentation workflows
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team
• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program; outpatient ID/PC experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in collaboration with infectious disease physicians; take histories and exams; order/interpret diagnostics; develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Hospital rounding on inpatients; manage follow-ups; monitor therapy; wound care; coordinate infusion and pharmacy services
• Educate patients on prevention, medication adherence, and travel health; maintain accurate EHR documentation; participate in quality and safety initiatives
