Qualificações

• Current New York NP license and national board certification.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
• FNP, ANP, or comparable NP certification.
• Direct clinical experience in Infectious Disease required.
• Strong knowledge of infectious disease diagnosis, treatment and management.
• Experience managing patients with complex infectious conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with antimicrobial/medication management.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with infectious diseases.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic results.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including antimicrobial therapy.
• Monitor and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide follow-up and ongoing management of infectious conditions.
• Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Apply standards related to infection prevention and care.
• Provide care to diverse underserved communities.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
