Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. You will join a mission-driven, fully staffed clinic committed to serving the local community.

Requirements include MD/DO with an active license, board certification preferred, and DEA/Furnishing credentials. The role handles 14–18 patients daily, with strong leadership responsibilities and on-site work.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active medical license in good standing.
• Board certification in relevant field preferred.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care while meeting productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and optimize workflow.
• Document visits on the same day or within 72 hours with proper codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions in outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review imaging, labs, and consultant reports promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily and support patient retention.
• Supervise PAs/NPs with chart reviews as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage; admin time allocated weekly.
