Job summary

Rutgers New Jersey Medical School seeks a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Diseases to expand inpatient and outpatient consultation and care services, and to teach medical students at University Hospital in Newark, NJ.

The candidate will consult on diverse infectious illnesses, work with a dedicated fellow, and provide direct patient care for infectious disease patients, including those with HIV, in a modern ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
• Commitment to teaching, patient care and research.

Responsibilities

• Expand inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation and care services.
• Provide direct patient care for infectious disease patients, including HIV.
• Mentor and teach medical students and fellows.
• Opportunities to join and lead clinical research studies.
