Job summary

Kaztronix LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to join the Clinical Development organization focused on infectious disease therapies in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. This role works closely with the VP, Clinical Development to translate strategy into day-to-day execution and to drive progress across programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline; MD not required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical development, clinical science, or closely related field.
• Experience supporting clinical development programs from protocol development through trial execution.
• Strong understanding of clinical development principles, trial design, protocol development, and study conduct.
• Infectious disease experience preferred; startup/biotech environment experience desirable.
• Ability to independently manage substantial portions of day-to-day clinical development activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to represent Clinical Development in meetings.
• APAC clinical development experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day partner to the VP, Clinical Development and manage execution of clinical development strategy for infectious disease programs.
• Own day-to-day clinical development activities to keep priorities, decisions, and deliverables moving forward.
• Represent Clinical Development in cross-functional meetings; provide scientific input.
• Prepare for key meetings by synthesizing information and outlining paths forward.
• Lead or support protocol development, study objectives, endpoints, eligibility, and feasibility.
• Support start-up, site questions, enrollment challenges, and study conduct with Clinical Operations and CROs.
