Responsibilities

• Implements physician orders, administers meds, starts IVs, performs treatments and tests, documents actions.
• Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assesses patient needs and responses to care and adjusts plans.
• Uses sound nursing judgment in care decisions and plan of care.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries/illnesses.
• Collaborates with the team to create and update the Plan of Care.
• Guides ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards.
